E-I-E-I-O!!!!!

We are FINALLY feeling better, and getting back to our SUMMER! We took an outing to the local Farm, Old MacDonald's Farm to be exact! We had a great time! And I don't know that we could have picked a better day, it was LOVELY out, not too hot, not too cold, really quite a nice morning for a family outing.
I think most of our time was spent chasing chickens, Addy and Daddy were quite the chasers!

Showing no FEAR, our little one loved being in the Goat pen!
I am pretty sure she is pretending to be a goat in this picture, not sure, when she is talking to them she squats, this is altogether a different sight....
Okay which one of these is not like the others? Just don't eat their food Addy!

Cheering on the pigs in the Pig racing, Go little pigs!

Oh, babies that are just 1 day old....

Trying out the big girl swings, there is no stopping this girl I tell you No FEAR!
OK maybe a little fear, when the baby chick she was holding started crawling up her arm, she moved rather quickly to get away from it!

UMM, yeah this isn't a riding animal sweetheart, no sitting on this cow!

Petting the sleeping one, a much better idea!

Baby Goats!

The Farmer and his kid, we may have missed our calling in life, these two had so much fun on the farm with all the animals, I couldn't help but have a good time as well. Old MacDonald's Farm, Two thumbs up from us!

18 weeks

This is me at 18 weeks pregnant with baby number two, 18 weeks is kind of a strange point in time to take a picture for documentation sake, at least in my mind, but since it is the first time in weeks we have been feeling better, dressed and out of the house we thought we would take advantage of it. So far I have lost weight with this baby, my regular clothes are still a go, and baby has started moving for me a bit, usually in the evenings. No weird cravings, or must haves in the food department. Everything seems quite similar to my first pregnancy, with a few exceptions, but so far so good!

Five things I love about being pregnant with this child (in no particular order)
1.  Knowing Addy won't be an only child, (not that there is anything wrong with being an only child) We just really wanted her to have at least one sibling
2. Getting to take naps in the day and not feeling guilty about it. In fact just the opposite knowing I did something rather productive while sleeping, bonus!
3. The DREAMS, I mean really, I think I could make a fortune on prime time if only I would share
4. Hearing/ seeing the baby.  Every time we get to hear or see the baby I can't help but cry, not a sad cry, but  a cry of pure gratitude. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have another child
5. How fast it is going, which really I go back and forth on this one, sometimes I am just thankful the time is flying by, other times I am truly sad, I want to savor every moment of our children including being pregnant, so the time going by quickly makes me feel pressed to enjoy the little things, in the same light I CAN'T WAIT to hold this kid!
