Re-Grouping

No matter how hard we try to keep our schedule when we are out visiting or when we have visitors we have found that we still ALWAYS need a few days to re-group so I am now to the point where I just schedule them into our routine for ease. A few down days in which we just take it easy, get caught up on things and enjoy life! Here are Doug and Addy having a little relaxation time in Addy's new room, which is still a hit, She just loves being in there, we made it to the park, play group, therapy and story time but the rest of the time we just chilled,( literally it was cold). Friday was warm again and Doug took the day off to play with Addy as I had an all morning appointment. What a lovely week! I think we are officially re-grouped, good thing too, I see that next week is getting quite full! Bring on the FALL FUN!!!!
We hope you are all enjoying the fall too!

Visitors!!!!

Over Columbus Day, Grandma and Grandpa W decided to come for a Visit. We had a busy, busy, couple of days. It was sure nice of them to come and visit. Here are some of the highlights of the weekend!
The Hills are alive! They are so beautiful during the fall. Paul and Georgene got here on a Friday. Saturday we headed out for the parade of homes, Doug had two homes in the parade here. While we were out we took advantage of Fall in Spearfish Canyon, we missed the peak by a week or so, but I still found it intoxicating! WE LOVE THE FALL! Below is just of picture of the hills this fall (near where we were four wheeling)

Doug's Two homes in the Parade, two very different price ranges, these are his renders. They turned out Great! Even better in person! (of course I am probably biased)

Grandpa and Grandma W, Doug and Addy in Spearfish Canyon (she is cheering on the fish I am sure? )
Our little family (me 29 weeks pregnant) up the canyon
Two of my favorite people! It was a little chilly out, but really all in all lovely!
After naps Saturday we got ready and took Grandma and Grandpa to one of our favorite places in the hills, Hill City to eat at the Alpine Inn, so  TASTY!

Addy only wishes she was the regular driver, Obviously she is not!  but she does love her spare time spent in the drivers seat! We took it easy Sunday, with Church and FHE . Then Monday we headed out for some four-wheeling fun. Paul and Georgene brought their two four wheelers and we borrowed a rhino from one of our friends for us. It was the best day weather wise to be out and about, so FUN! We were able to go out on some others friends land and just really enjoy the morning!

We weren't sure how Addy was going to do, this was her first trip in the rhino not being strapped to me, we planned on a love/hate scenario, lucky for us she LOVED it! We could hear giggling and squealing and all kinds of laughter from the back seat!
Ready to go!

One of Daddy's favorite things to do!

 Apparently Addy's too!
While driving I snapped this one, TOO CUTE!
 Here is Grandma and Grandpa
We only took Addy out for the morning then it was home for nap time for the ladies and Doug and his Dad spent the afternoon adventuring the hills. Tuesday came and Grandma, Grandpa and Pockets, the dog (who was quite the hit with our little one) were on the road home. Thanks for coming guys, We had a good time!
