Nothing Says Fall Like...

... Canned Goods! My Mom and I have been quite hard at work putting up a variety of goods, both canned and frozen. My fam tends to like things raw or closest too so we keep a freezer full of goods as that is closest to raw,  I have been trying to refill our freezer since our move when we completely emptied it, but we also keep some food that isn't so dependent on energy to remain good. This last go around we had a count of 85 jars. We did Peaches and Apples, making some Jam, Apple butter, Apple pie filling, Apple Sauce and some stewed tomatoes. We had already done a load of pears. The smell of it all was fabulous, but  in all honesty I think I love the look of the finished product more then anything, the colors are so beautiful and the Jars just lovely. I know weird, but really I love to look at them....

Family Date Night

Family Date night can't go wrong there! I love the Fall and Corn Maizes, and have been looking forward to getting to take the kids to one.The first time we had planned to go we were weathered out but we were able to catch it this last Friday night We started the evening by taking the kids to a new pizza place we had never been nor will ever be back to! Then we headed over to the festivities at the maize, the only thing was we did not account for how dark it would get and so quickly where has the time gone? We did however get in a ton of fun before we had to go. We went on the train ride, and the slides, which are really very fast...
Addy actually survived her round about dump and went again, So fun!
We stopped at the corn for a spell to see how tall we were in comparison to the corn.

They really had a ton of activities outside of the corn maize to do, a pumpkin patch to go through, a teepee full of corn kernels to play in, duck races, and a little cow train that wasn't actually running to Addy's dismay, they also had animals. Addy loved the biking with dad though, I heard you steer and I will pedal as the two of them sped away from Jimmy and I, that didn't actually work so well, Addy ended up on her own bike with Doug pushing her bike with his.

OH, Montana Skies, need I say more?

We ended the night with a ride in the wagon, of course neither of our kids would be looking at me to take their picture while on that ride, they are so funny, but they did love the ride. All and all we had a GREAT family date night! We can't wait for the next one!

Singin ana Dancin!

This Girl just cracks me up! I told her it was time for "movin and grovin" aka music time at our house she told me she would be right back in her own little way that is so adorable, I turned on the music and she came out dressed like this and started singing and dancing and making noise with her little noise maker she was also kind enough to share a noise maker with Jim, look close you can see him. What a HOOT! Good thing we live next store to a band, there will be no complaining coming from then as we crank up the music and noisily dance away!
