Building! Lucky for us we closed on the lot and that same day work started on the house! Talk about efficient that is one heck of a Contractor we have (DOUG) You are looking at the hole the house will be in when done.
Those large beautiful trees range across the back of the lot! I love, love, love them! And we have met the neighbors already at least some of them and they are quite friendly...This house is being built on steal pipes called piers, Doug and I were brave enough to mark out the piers last sat so they could start drilling them in, we got up with the sun actually we beat the sun up and were waiting on the lot for a bit of light to start they have to be pretty exact, Doug and I were very glad that when they poured the footings they were all on the piers as they should be! A new step we have never done before.(which really showed my lack of math skills when it comes to fractions, YIKES) This picture the ruts closest to you will be the garage.
I just like the pictures of the machines! And well so do the kids big trucks are so cool!
And this picture is horrible I shouldn't even put it on, darn camera phone,but look close that is our view-to-be, yes you should be able to see the temple out our front window (at least the spire) until the subdivision between us and it is built in, so another year or two.... The house is moving right along, although we have hit some weather we are suppose to have quite the storm this weekend? We were lucky and got a jump start on it though to account for some weather delays hopefully we should still complete in a timely manner even with building through the winter. I can't wait!
