I realize it is nearly October and I am just now posting Labor Day, I missed almost an entire month, but my camera card is full again so while I am dumping the photos I thought I would also work on getting a few back posts done. Over Labor Day we had a MT adventure. We started off the weekend at Doug's Parents house, both of his little sisters were there as well, with their families. All of us have girls close in age, and by close I mean Sam who is the oldest shown above with the shortest hair is 4 months older then Addy who is next on the bench and the Jennie is a week younger then Addy and she is the only one looking at the camera, I have 13 shots of these girls sitting together on the bench and not a one of them has all 3 looking at the camera.
Me and the kiddos, that doesn't happen often, I am always the one holding the camera and not the one smiling for it.
Here is Addy where she really wanted to be with the boys doing none other then watching TV!(mmm yes she is definitely getting away with something here) Logan who is on her right is 5 and Jason on her left is almost 7. Addy just loves Logan and gets along with him so well. They are also really close in size so I am sure in Addy's mind that is the logical choice for whom she would choose to play with.
While we were there we had a little Cousins Party in the Backyard. To which the only cousin that didn't make it that was there was Jimmy, He slept through the festivities and here he is telling us about that.
We had an Un-birthday party. No we didn't actually use the above dishes, but we will be using them for our next tea party. I am one of those people that always plans way more then we actually do (that would be four years of drilling be prepared into my head I guess I did get something from my college education, LOL), so I did have a purpose for them other then looks, but maybe next time. And I just have to give a shout out to goodwill where most everything on the table was picked up for less then 10.00 dollars!
Bubble Dancer, if you look close you can see Cousin Jennie dancing with the Bubbles I got 3 pictures of her doing this and they are all just adorable, who doesn't love a cute girl and bubbles, come on!
Water color painting. Which turned into ice eating. Luckily they were sticking to the oranges and reds so no staining. The first time I did this activity with Addy (months earlier) I didn't put enough food coloring in the ice so the painting wasn't great so I put a bit more in this time, needless to say I had blue and green hands for a day or so...

The unbirthday gifts... We use to have unbirthday party's when I worked for Disney 3 times a week, I loved working them because they were so fun, and they never got old to me, granted the kids were a bit older as we didn't take anyone under 3 and no one over 12 which meant FUN! I haven't done one for years, but I am pretty sure we will be adding it to our Family Traditions, Meaning Doug and I's family who knows whom we will invite, but as both the kids have Dec birthdays it is really nice to have a summer bash and as the kids get older it will only get more fun! I think... So A very Merry Unbirthday it was. Pictured above Doug and his two youngest sisters and all of the kids except poor little Jim who was sleeping. Don't worry he did get a gift though.

After naps Doug treated all the kids who wanted to ride a ride on his Dad's 4 wheelers. Addy was thrilled and insisted on two rides. Thanks to Cousin Katie on the farm a few months back, Addy loves her a 4 wheeler ride. Which is really very handy as Mom and Dad also like 4 wheelers. And below is Jason. Go Uncle Doug, you really are a very fun guy! We had a lovely time with his family and are so glad we got to see everyone and finally meet our littlest niece whom we had not yet gotten to. She was just as adorable as we were anticipating and she even let me hold her for a bit, which well won her points.

On Saturday after the festivities we packed up and Headed North to see our Dear dear friends the Knighton's. We love our families, but occasionally if we are lucky we find friends that given the choice we would adopt into our families, the knighton's happen to be one of those families. We just love them and have such a great time with them. Thanks for having us guys! We can't wait to see you again...

Addy all ready for church, I love this picture and her hair in it which you really can't see, but I vouch for it, being adorable. Below is Jim, Anna (who is 6 weeks older then Addy) then Addy. The girls kind of had a hard time playing together this trip but they eventually were warming up to each other and I think both had a good time. Addy really just has a very hard time playing with girls, she loves boys! Probably because they are easier to boss around... So I am thinking we should start bringing out the basketball for Addy how bout you? She is really close to a head taller then the majority of kids her age, we should put it to use if it sticks around...
We spent the rest of the weekend just catching up and playing, it was great. Below are Matthew and James... Somehow I missed getting a picture of Jacob, but the truth be told I really didn't take many pictures only 3 I was too busy spending as much time as I could with my friend Holly to take photos.
All in all we had a Great time! We just love having family and friends so close!
