One might see these two pictures and think they have nothing in common and for most of you, okay all of you I hope they don't! They do however have a story at our house! So, one day, not to long ago I was sifting the house, or purging to get rid of some of the excess before packing, the kids were running about having a good time helping now and then and minding their own business at times. There are three things to note about our kids before I get to far into the story 1. Addy is potty trained but for some reason often misses the step of flushing the toilet (usually excellent at washing her hands though) 2. If they are hungry and I am not on it like that second they will take care of themselves and 3 Jimmy loves dip with everything he eats. Back to the story I am purging bows in the bathroom and I hear "dip, dip, dip", worried at what mess I will be cleaning I turn around to find Jimmy Dip, dip, dipping a banana in the toilet that yes in fact sister had used and not flushed. So proud of himself was he, ready to puke was I! New rule our house, no dipping anything in the potty!

Spring has Sprung!
We have been having ridiculously abnormal weather for this time of year, snow and rain one day 80-90 the next one just never knows what to expect, we did however bust out the shorts, flip flops and our pasty pale and proud of it skin, we wear sunscreen year round at least the kids and I do, so we are even paler then one might expect. I found some lotion we all like that has a SPF 15 to it, (We just can't and won't not do our part in hoping to not have to deal with skin cancer) it isn't greasy and doesn't smell like sunscreen which goes hand in hand with our goal in transitioning to products with little to no dye(we haven't applied this to food yet) or perfumes which has been a long slow process, but we are getting close we will of course still have a few items(Doug and I both still have the perfume/cologne we had when we met 10 yrs ago to give you an idea of how fast we are at using smellies) but the bulk of our products are now skin friendly. The kids both LOVE their flip flops and summer shoes, they just can't get enough of the warmth and sunny fun filled days! We love SPRING, and SUMMER!!!!

To The Rescue!
Should I ever need to be rescued from a fire, I hope that the rescuer is half as adorable as this little guy in his giddy-up! He loves, loves, loves to play with these hats that he and sister got. The truth be told he rescues me daily! He is so sweet and Adorable I just don't know how we ever got along without him.
Ten Truths and a Lie! Jimmy now at 16 months
1. He has no fear when it comes to adventuring
2. He is just now having his first round of Stranger Danger
3. He has a solid vocab and can mimic most words modeled for him
4. His motto is the messier the better
5. He ADORES his sister and wants to do EVERYTHING she does
6. He was born with a song in his step, so musical
7. He is in Love with the TV
8. He loves to be the center of Attention
9. He is just above average for his age in size and weight
10. He has had more then one head injury which required medical attention
11. He can't go anywhere without people telling him how adorable his mischievous self is
Did you figure out the lie?
The lie is #7 while I would love to say it is one of the others, it isn't he has little to no interest in the tv (not that this is a bad thing) except when there is singing and dancing happening aka step in time from Mary Poppins, Addy earns tv time and when she is watching tv and he happens to be awake (which really isn't all that often as we don't really encourage tv for Jimmy he is a bit young for screen time) anyways when it so happens she is getting tv time this is usually when Jimmy displays the worst behaviors, hitting, pushing, screaming, and since those don't really get him his way he has now started turning the tv off, refer to #8.....

A Fishy in the Sea!
I should have switched my blog back to private months ago, alas I didn't and now yes, I am in fact months behind. In truth I have NO IDEA where the time goes, it is just flying by, I can't get enough of these two little loves, I miss them the moment I am not with them, and just adore every second I am. So I am going to do my best to get back on track with the blog in addition to completing a house, packing, switching therapy centers, transitioning from spring therapy's to summer and well not to mention my daily tasks, in other words bare with me. These pictures are from earlier this year, I decided to start taking Addy swimming as much as I can usually once a week to help her with her bodies spatial awareness, some weeks we don't make it to the pool, due to this that or the other but I have one little girl that LOVES (and that is an understatement) water and swimming so on the weeks we don't make it to the pool we swim in the tub, our little super hero's join us with their goggle and help us fight against the evil Villan Stinks and her sidekick Dirty, by way of washing. They are so fun, seriously one can't help but smile just looking at them. Today was a particularly nice day and Addy really wants me to get the pool out which I am thinking I am going to do soon, but since I didn't have time today she made her own, using hula hoops.... If I were a fishy in the sea, I look all over to swim with these two, but that's just me.
