Baby, baby, Baby!

Today we had our last ultra sound for this little one (most likely), a stress test, and well all the fixins(that would cover the stuff you don't really want to know about)! And the results, baby is big enough to come! Good lungs, good heart, everything looks healthy, baby seems to stay agitated for a little longer then one might expect (must account for all my rage with this pregnancy?) but we passed our stress test and are falling in normal ranges for fluids and all that fun stuff, so let the count down begin! Something about seeing the baby and their heart going thumpity, thump, thump just warms my heart! Doug and I even had some time to test out some names, we would say them and give baby a chance to respond via heart rate, since we were strapped in, might as well put it to good use, no definites, but I think we made progress? I am not sure how accurate letting the baby chime in was, but it was sure fun! If the heart rate went above 170 it was put in the pool of possibilities. It was fun! Well, they gave us a lot more info then I am divulging, amazing what they can do with technology these days, but for those of you who haven't finished your predictions that wanted to I don't want to blog a spoiler! So we will leave it at this, Baby is baked, just a matter of coming! We are so EXCITED!!!

Whistling in the Dark!

I am not sure how many people know this little fact, (we are always sure to tell people that buy homes we have built, so they don't think there is something wrong with the electrical or something) but generally speaking when a house is between 2 and 3 years old from the time it was built, all the lights tend to at the same time go out, or burn out if you will! We have never had to deal with this before as we usually build the house then sell it before the house comes of age for this activity, however currently we are sitting in the dark, A LOT!!!! I can't complain, it is just funny to me, I think Doug is going to move the ladder in the house permanently until the last bulb has gone, which at the rate we are going won't be long, we lost 3 today. I think we may have to add, CHANGE light bulbs to the daily to do list, good thing bulbs have been on clearance for dirt cheap at Lowes, we stocked up, just a matter of getting them changed, until then why not do a little whistling, (any They might be Giant fans?)
