We have been crazy busy these last couple of weeks, with little time to spare, it has been GREAT! Here are a few pictures of some of the fun!
My dear Friend Beth and her 3 girls came over for a day, it was so fun to see them and to go to the "Farm" with them, as you can see the goats were a little out of control at this point, the girls loved it, for awhile.

Tory (5) had no fear of going on the train ride by herself, Addy (1.5) decided to join her, we were not sure how it was going to go, but she loved it, thanks for being so brave Tory and for letting Addy join the fun. And Thanks to Beth for braving the drive and coming over for the day, we had such a good time, it was so nice to see you guys!
Big Girl! Doug and I made a list of things we thought it would be nice if Addy could do when baby brother got here, some of them seemed a bit far fetched, but we can all dream right, We had/ have no intentions of rushing Addy out of her babyish stages but I think she may have some plans of her own, perhaps she saw the list? I don't know but she is suddenly very interested in being a big girl! So it is a big girl chair at the table,(goodbye highchair and booster) and big girl glasses to drink out (goodbye bottles and Most not all sippie cups), only forks and spoons to eat with (metal of course, goodbye plastic kid friendly spoons) Her own space to sit on the couch, Walking, not crawling up and down the stairs, and yes Peeing in the POTTY! (we are not fully trained but we are definitely making great progress much farther then we thought we would be at 20 months) She is still growing like a weed although she has slowed down in the gaining weight department. Who knows what is in store next for our big girl, a big girl bed and room perhaps or will it be good bye lolly??? What a fun girl she is, We just love you Addy, no matter what stage you are in!
My first attempt at a Diaper cake, I made this for a shower I helped put together last minute for a friend, other then the ridiculous wind, the shower turned out quite lovely.
Ready to go out for Dinner with Friends! We had my dear friends Melinda and Janell (and Co) here over the Holiday weekend. Melinda came in on Thursday so we got to spend some good time with her, as always it was just lovely! We went to dinner at the Alpine Inn in Hill City, so yummy, we had to get there early though but Addy didn't mind, she LOVED having Melinda along, A kindred spirit as you can see below....
We all loved having her here. Thanks for taking time to come visit us we had so much fun. We also went to the indoor water park while she was here. Addy and I pretty much stuck to the pool and the lazy river, but it was a great day and we couldn't beat the price, FREE)
We also made it to the LAKE (which was a bit chilly, to cold to go out on our raft, so we just hiked around the lake instead)
Doug was kind enough to try his hand at ribs to top off the fun! It was a GREAT! Thanks again to all for coming! Can't wait for next year!!!
Tuesday came and our company was all gone we had appointments and sleep to catch up on and then Thursday we took off for MT. We made it to Billings and stayed with Grandma and Grandpa H, then the next day we went to Grandma and Grandpa W's for the Choke Cherry Festival. Apparently it is a big deal, although this year there were no chokecherries, but the festivities were fun all the same, I didn't get a picture of Grandma and Grandpa W as my camera was on the run in fact I missed a lot from our whole trip (hidden by a little one) but we had a good time. Then we headed back to Billings for appointments, work and more fun!
Cousins, We met Doug's sister and two younger kids at the park. It was so nice outside, Just lovely and the kids were able to play, play, play. (I thought I had a picture of the three of them, but I guess I was wrong, just the two girls) I can't believe it is Sept already, and like Midway where does the time go? Part 2 coming soon!
