Yep, can you believe it our little tike is FOUR MONTHS old, well he will be this week! CRAZY! And yes he volunteered to be in the bucket, okay really Addy volunteered and Jim got to join the fun! (She is just now realizing he is the perfect size to put in things, hmmm) We took him in for his four month and all is well. He is in the 60% for weight at a whopping 15lbs and he is in the 80th % for height Four fun things we have learned with James 1. the amount of stuff put into a baby doesn't mean the amount of stuff coming out will be equal in proportion, this kid can puke! Be he is a Happy Spitter as the Dr. puts it so, if you are going to have a spitter best he is happy... 2. Babies come with the ability to love all, He ADORES his sister who for the most part also adores him, but really I am not sure I would put on the biggest grin I own when I saw a girl coming that regularly pokes at my eyes, trys at every chance possible to take my clothes off, and loves, absolutely loves to see if my arms pop off like Mr. Potato Heads do? 3. We finally get why everyone was so insistent with a girl that you wipe front to back, that seems very logical, until you have a boy, and that is all I have to say on that. 4. Everything goes faster the second time, or maybe Jim is faster at everything, I am not sure, he is rolling front to back and back to front, He has had his first bites of rice cereal (more to come on that) He is weight bearing and ready to go, (he has always had significant strength in his legs) He is already rocking and trying to get up on all fours (maybe to move away from someone?) He learns toys quickly, and loves to talk, be talked to and be part of the group. The thing he dislikes most, is when we have family prayer or dinner and he isn't a part even if he is 3 feet away he wants in on the fun. We just love him! I can't believe four months have gone by already!

Oh, holding hands even, when Addy isn't poking, pulling, smothering, or otherwise endangering the brother, she is in fact quite a fabulous entertainer, they love to lay and read together....So CUTE!
More tactile, we had two great weeks and then, we had a break, BUMMER. So for those of you who may not know often kids with sensory issues when they get sick, their threshold for stimulation drops drastically as well. We picked up a whopper of a virus on a temple trip, which had our little Addy puking, which unlike Jim is not a minute to minute occurrence. In fact it is only the third time total in her life. So She was very sick, poor girl, but on top of that her sensory issues intensify to the point of regular meltdowns, she couldn't handle baths, having her hair, body or teeth brushed, any of our deep pressure or movement activities that we do regularly and certainly not together which is the goal. It was a very long week for her, and us. The rest of us got a touch of the bug, but thankfully held out. Addy is finally getting back to where she was, so hopefully we can press forward.
Birthday Parties, neither of these girls are the birthday girl, the ones older Sister was turning 8, She called me personally and asked if Addy could come to the Party. She is so sweet. Her (the 8 year old) and Addy have a little bond that is just sweet, Addy really only gets along with a handful or less of girls, but this little 8 year old is one of her favorites. We went to another activity with them, and Addy and Tessa were playing, I was a little worried about Tessa feeling left out of the activities or burdened by Addy so I tried to intervene, oh no, she about cried and said, I just love Addy, I want to play with her, I am a bit hungry though could you convince Addy to come eat with me? later she told her Mom it was the best night she has had in a long time. So sweet.

I love this Picture! We had the youth over from our Ward for a breakfast and our KIDS LOVED it. Addy has no idea she isn't one of them, she just joined the fun. A couple of the boys were laying on the bean bag, the family bean bag and Addy just jumped in between and started talking with them, just adorable. We love the youth, they are so good with her. The one in green is our babysitter, My Lexi as Addy puts it. She to date has only claimed three people, Me (her Mom), Lexi and her cousin Jennie.
The new traveling hit! We are gearing up for a crazy summer with a lot of traveling. To try and make that traveling as successful as possible we are training now, and introducing things so it is not quite the struggle later, at least that is the hope. So one weekend we took the Youth on a temple trip (our temple if 5.5 hours away) and had an overnighter at the hotel, we decided to get in our goal of making it to our district once this year at the same time and took our family another family joined us so we could swap kids, the logistics of living far away, but it all worked out, the best part, besides getting to do a session with my husband, was no fighting this girl to bed, she loved her spot! One less thing to worry about, only like 45 more to go! We are gladly taking helps so any of you well traveled parents with little ones wanting to share.... Our biggest worry is the plane with a sensory issued two year old, I am gearing up for the worst....
